Soul at Saint James

Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir has been singing at St James's Church, Piccadilly since 2014 and we are continuing our connection, in spite of COVID-19 restrictions, with Soul at Saint James.  Our new project, a collaboration with St James, is a way to explore the deepest issues of our day:  Love, Justice, Refuge, Solace, and we're beginning the series with 'Courage: Continuing the Black Lives Matter Conversation' with some incredible music and poetry.

Soul at Saint James was originally conceived as an outdoor, afternoon event, taking place in the church's courtyard, but we've moved online and you can watch the Youtube Premiere with us at 6 pm on Sunday 4th October.  Register now to receive a reminder and link to the show.

A message to those new to St James's:

"St James’s is a church where everyone is welcome; whatever your background, whatever your baggage, whatever your story. Whether you've been coming to church for years or have never set foot in a church before, you are equally welcome. Whenever the weather allows, our Soul Sanctuary Sunday evenings are held outdoors in our courtyard, where there’s space to think, reflect and immerse yourself in the wonderful sounds, spirit and energy of irresistibly good Gospel music. We hope to see you soon!"
