This immersive musical experience will continue the Black Lives Matter conversation which gained momentum in summer 2020 following the unlawful killing of George Floyd and subsequent global mass protest.

Prepare to explore the different textures of Courage through lament - acknowledging both historical events: slavery and colonialism, and the pain and trauma felt today. Holding space for how people are feeling through conversation and generating ideas for action to combat racial injustice.

With brand new content, this free hour-long special is the first production from 'Soul at Saint James' a joint project between St James's Church, Piccadilly, and Soul Sanctuary Gospel Choir conceived initially as a live, outdoor event.
